31-Day Creative Challenge

So ya girl was facing a lot of rejection early 2025, and I mean A LOT. No one really talks about how much rejection effects your creative motivation, so, in attempt to fall back in love with creating, I challenged myself to make something everyday.

You can watch the full series on my TikTok, but here are some of my fav creations:

Dry’s Stomach Relief

Client: Canada Dry

Black people have used Canada Dry’s Ginger Ale as a stomach relief since dogs could bark. To honor this tradition, Canada Dry is going to release a limited edition Ginger Ale-flavored cough syrup (that actually works).

@tiffanyssimone For Day 11 of my 31-Day Creative Challenge, I had to design a new product based on a human insight. So I tapped into the ultimate Black household remedy and created @canadadry’s Stomach Relief. A real product (not really) for the real ones who’ve been sipping ginger ale since birth. Because if we’re already treating it like medicine, might as well make it official. #31DayCreativeChallenge #copywriter #productdesign #graphicdesign #canva #blackcreatives #advertising #marketing ♬ original sound - Tiffany

Sociolect Recognition

Client: Grammarly

It’s frustrating for Black writers who use Ebonics to have their dialect overlooked and flagged as incorrect.

Grammarly fixed that problem by offering an updated feature: Sociolect Recognition.

Writers can toggle this setting on or off when setting goals, allowing Grammarly to respect their voice.

The tool will be trained on Black slang and the linguistic rules of Ebonics, ensuring culturally relevant language is recognized, not penalized.

@tiffanyssimone @Grammarly is committed to "bias mitigation and inclusive language," but still flags AAVE as incorrect. For Day 21 of my 31-Day Creative Challenge, I created a feature update for Grammarly, called “Sociolect recognition,” that understands AAVE. Because not everything is a typo. #31daychallenge #Proofofconcept #copywriting #advertising #grammarly #concepting ♬ original sound - Tiffany

Raising Cane’s: A Sitcom

Client: Raising Cane’s

Meet Cane: a chicken tender boy. He’s got homework, awkward crushes, and the occasional fryer-related trauma. It’s a mockumentary sitcom of a breaded boy, his family, and a whole lot of sauce.

@tiffanyssimone You can’t name a brand Raising Cane’s and not expect someone to turn it into a mockumentary. For Day 10 of my 31-Day Creative Challenge, I had to concept a social series for a brand. I was eating @Raising Cane's Cane’s when I thought: “Who is Cane? And has he been raised?” So I made "Raising Cane": a chaotic mockumentary about a chicken tender-boy just trying to find his place in a human world. Coming soon to a For You Page near you. #CreativeChallenge #Copywriter #GenZMarketing #raisingcanes ♬ Playboi - Instrumental - Teoifolis

The McStatus

Client: McDonalds’s

Everybody knows the feeling of going to McDonald's for a creamy, delicious McFlurry, just to be let down because the ice cream machine is broken.

To save customers from unnecessary letdowns (and valid crashouts), we’re introducing a new in-app feature: McStatus.

This new map add-on, exclusive for McDonald’s App users, will share which ice cream machines work (and which are broken) in a user's area.

If the pin is green, the ice cream machine works; if it’s red, the machine is broken.

So, let us know: What’s the McStatus?

Peace of Mind” :60/:30

She waited all day for her Oreo McFlurry, only to hear the dreaded words: “ice cream machine’s down.” She *almost* crashes out. Luckily now, there’s an app that lets you check ahead, so no more heartbreak, just peace of mind (and Oreos).

@tiffanyssimone @McDonald’s can we make this a real thing? For Day 19 I concepted an in-app feature that lets McDonald’s customers know which ice cream machines are broken in their area. Because there’s no greater disappointment than craving an Oreo McFlurry, and not being able to get one. Let me know your thoughts! #31daycreativechallenge #proofofconcept #mcdonalds #specwork #copywriting #marketing #advertising ♬ original sound - Tiffany

Less Prompting, More Thinking

Client: Baylor University

Roughly 86% of college students said they regularly used AI in their studies. Let’s make them remember who’s education is important (and at stake).
